Erik is a madman. He emailed me out of the blue once “please don’t be offended” (always a great start to an email) “but during the pandemic when everyone was sitting around some friends and I shot two features with a skeleton crew” (Not a direct quote) (I no longer respond to such emails btw). I admired the pluck! This film was shot on Blackmagic pocket 4k and I’m thrilled with the result given the circumstances of this film’s creation. The skin tones are great and we got super creative in some scenes.
